"Roll With Us", originally titled "Roll", is a song by Doja Cat. It appears as the third track on her debut studio album, Amala, released on March 30, 2018, previously released as the album's sole promotional single on February 1, 2018. The song was also previously uploaded to her SoundCloud account on December 8, 2016, before shortly getting deleted.

Background

In early August 2015, Doja Cat uploaded a short video to her Twitter or Instagram of herself singing the songs hook with slightly different lyrics, over a beat that sounded very different to the Amala release, making it likely that the video was just a freestyle that turned into an actual song. This video has since been deleted.

On June 20, 2016, Doja Cat started up a livestream on Periscope, in which she titled the live "ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WIT US". No footage of this stream exists, and its only proof of existence are tweets from Twitter.

On December 8, 2016, Doja uploaded the song to her SoundCloud account, years before its release on Amala. However, this upload remains unavailable as it was taken down within an hour, making it unknown if this version was any different from the album release. The title of the upload wrote "ROLL W/ US prod. YETI BEATS x HIMSELF U”.

In November 2017, Doja performed this song during Lizzo's Good as Hell Tour, as Doja was the opening act. Many other Amala tracks were performed too, months before their release in March 2018.

Sometime around 2017 - 2018, Doja shared an image of the original track list of Amala before its release, where some cut songs can be seen. In the image, "Roll with Us" could be seen, serving as the second track and titled "Roll". Next to it was written "Feature (?)!" hinting there was a possible scrapped feature for the song.
