Lyrics[]

[Intro]
(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh)

[Verse 1: Bobi Andonov]
If it's alright
I'm taking my heart out and leaving it by your bedside
Usually [?] giving you this 'cause it feels right
Feels right only after one night, one night

[Pre-Chorus: Bobi Andonov]
Can't take this slow
It's like you got me under mind control
Can't let this go
I'll give you what you want
As long as I'm the only one that's coming over

[Chorus: Bobi Andonov]
Is this what you want from me?
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh
This is what I'm offering
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh

[Verse 2: Bobi Andonov]
Is it too much?
I know that you're nervous and kissing the surface with each touch
I'm falling, I'm falling, I'm falling
You're standing there watching (Standing there)
You're still watching
When you gonna drop it?

[Pre-Chorus: Bobi Andonov]
Can't take this slow
It's like you got me under mind control
Can't let this go
I'll give you what you want
As long as I'm the only one that's coming over

[Chorus: Bobi Andonov, Doja Cat]
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh
Is this what you want from me?
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh (Oh, baby)
This is what I'm offering (Baby)
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh
This is what I'm offering
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh (Yeah, yeah)
My body and everything (It's Doja)

[Verse 3: Doja Cat]
They ain't give you things like I do (I do, I do)
They don't ball
They don't take you to the games like I do (No they don't)
This a ticket, she don't whip it in the range like I do
Give you brain like I do
Take money to the bank like I do, not the same
Thirst quenched if you need a water
I can make her sing like a Primadonna
Honest, climb on it like he Peter Parker
Is it pretty how the way I flaunt it?
Baby, you could be the judge like Rita Ora
He just got to tell me what he got to offer
Bow down, give me something you don't need to altar
Bow down, you the only one that's coming over and over and over

[Pre-Chorus: Bobi Andonov]
Can't take this slow
It's like you got me under mind control
Can't let this go
I'll give you what you want
As long as I'm the only one that's coming over

[Chorus: Bobi Andonov]
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh
Is this what you want from me?
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh (Oh, baby)
This is what I'm offering (Oh)
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh (Oh, baby)
This is what I'm offering
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh (This is what I'm offering)
My body and everything

Background[]

Bobi Andonov first mentioned the song in an interview with EUPHORIA. Magazine in June 2018. When asked about inspirations of any upcoming releases, Andonov replied with: “Offering” was an idea I started one year ago, with a few friends that I love working with. Its more R&B, but I can’t wait to release it because I feels like it shows a different side to me. I always wanted to make an R&B, sexy, slow jam.[1]

The song was later leaked online in February 2021. In May 2024, Bobi had done an interview with Rolling Stone, where he mentioned the song, working with Doja Cat, and the music video.

“‘Offering’ wasn’t originally meant to be a collaboration. It was supposed to be a standalone single for my first EP. I wrote the track while living in LA with a few writer friends, but we always felt something was missing from the song. I had the idea of adding a verse from another artist, and we considered a few at the time, but nothing felt right. I flew to the UK to shoot the video, which I think the production company actually ended up sharing online somewhere.”

Bobi stated that he considered a feature for the song as he and his friends felt as the song was 'missing something'. Later, his manager sent the song to Doja Cat's producer, where Doja and her producer both loved the song and returned in a verse within one or two weeks.

“My manager flicked it to Doja’s producer to see if he’d be interested in sending it to her. The producer loved the track, and so did Doja. The turnaround was quick; we received a verse within a week or two. She even wanted to redo it, showing a genuine passion for the track, which was exciting. I loved that she wanted to make it even better.”

The song was never released for various reasons but could still see a potential release in the future.[2]
