On January 5, 2013, the song's rough demo was uploaded to her SoundCloud account under the title "NO THANG (rough)". However, it was shortly taken down and remains lost. This version remains unheard and was likely recorded herself at home on her laptop.
On December 6, 2013, Doja Cat shared a 15-second snippet of the song to her Instagram account, captioned "💿💿💿💿💿💿💿💿". However, this post has since been deleted. It was Doja in the studio remastering the song as the previous SoundCloud upload was a rough.
On July 31, 2024, the song was fully leaked in a Discord server along with "Kingdom". Two versions of the song leaked: a demo and final version. Between both of them, the only difference includes the demo only having a music box instead of other instruments heard in the final.
