On May 15, 2024, three snippets of the song were leaked online, before fully leaking on June 30, 2024, during a mass leak.

On April 10, 2020, producer Thundercat tweeted "@DojaCat whatever happened to that song we did", with Doja replying "Idk I never finished the hook that shit was good though dm me". It's also likely they weren't referring to this song and could've been "STILL TRY", another Thundercat-produced track by Doja, or even an unknown unreleased track from that era.
