"Boom Boom", also known as "Boom" with the demo version, is an unreleased song by Doja Cat featuring JID. The song was intended for her third studio album, Planet Her, but was likely replaced for "Options".

Background

The solo version of the song without rapper JID's verse was leaked on April 19, 2021, months prior to Doja Cat's release of Planet Her. This version of the song is titled "Boom" and includes an open verse that was meant for JID, confirmed by Doja Cat on Twitter.

Snippets of the version featuring JID were leaked in 2023 before fully leaking on June 29, 2024. The song was renamed to "Boom Boom" upon JID's feature. Doja ended up not liking the song and sent JID a different song, "Options", that ended up on Planet Her.
