"Ain't Shit" is the eleventh track from Doja Cat's third album Planet Her. Formerly known as "N.A.S." or "N*ggas Ain't Shit", she played the entire song on her Instagram livestream in April 2020.

On April 2020, Doja played the song on her Instagram livestream. On May 15th, 2020, Doja said that she might release it as a single with a music video. On June 24th, 2020, Doja played the song on her Instagram livestream again, along with a confirmation of a pack of her most popular unreleased songs. In mid-August, she announced in another Instagram livestream, teasing the to-be-released song, allegedly planned for Friday, August 28, which ended up not happening. On November 25th, 2020, Doja dismissed rumours about the song featuring rapper Lil Nas X, which were brought up because Lil Nas was the only person she was following at the time. On twitter, Doja said, "nobody is featured on fuckin NAS i just felt like following lil nas x please sit your asses back down."
